Chemical Engineer

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Chemical Engineer (m/f) to join our Infrastructure Stability Team on a Full-time basis. As a Process Integrity Specialist, you will serve as the lead authority on chemical-structure interaction and containment safety for high-capacity industrial plants across Northern Italy. In this permanent role, you will bridge the gap between chemical process design and advanced structural simulation to ensure the long-term safety of our most ambitious industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Reaction Risk Modeling: Conduct advanced simulations of chemical reactor behavior and pressure vessel integrity during thermal stress events. Corrosion & Health Monitoring: Oversee the installation of specialized sensors in chemical storage and piping systems to monitor real-time material degradation and structural fatigue. Regulatory Liaison: Ensure all projects comply with Legislative Decree 105/2015 (Seveso III Directive), ATEX regulations, and Eurocode standards. Site Management: Lead multi-disciplinary teams of technicians and junior process engineers during the commissioning and initial testing phases of chemical plants. Requirements: Education: Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Chimica). Certification: Must be a licensed member of the Ordine degli Ingegneri (Section A). Language: Fluency in Italian and professional English. Skills: Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, and CFD modeling software (ANSYS Fluent)
